Fire safety needs in Mumbai
Mumbai has some of India’s tallest residential and commercial towers, along with large warehouse and logistics clusters in Bhiwandi, Thane and Navi Mumbai. High-rise buildings need wet risers, pressurised staircases, sprinklers on every floor and reliable pump rooms. Projects in Maharashtra must comply with the National Building Code and the Maharashtra Fire Prevention and Life Safety Measures Act to obtain fire NOC.
Building types we serve in Mumbai
- High-rise residential and commercial towers
- Warehouses and logistics parks in Bhiwandi, Thane and Navi Mumbai
- Hotels and hospitality projects
- Hospitals and healthcare projects
- Data centres and IT offices
- Factories and engineering plants
For high-rise projects in Mumbai we plan the riser zoning, pump head and tank capacity early with the architect and structural consultant, so the fire fighting system fits the building without last-minute changes.
